"What happened to all the
bugs?"
It seems old man winter is putting the pest
control industry “out of business” in Central Florida.
Freezes and cold temperatures have killed most of the pests and the
rest moved underground. I have been conducting business in
Central Florida for over 30 years now. I have never seen the bug
population so low and our economy in such dire straits.
Our poor economy and cold temperatures have definitely
put a damper on our industry's bottom line. The question is
now, which companies will endure these troubled times? I
predict only the strongest companies and the companies who are most
able to adapt will be left standing by the end of 2010. I do not
believe in evolution. I am a die-hard creationist by faith. The only
true fact in the theory of evolution is what's
called "Natural Selection". In other words, only the fittest
will survive which will allow them to pass down their
strengths to their offspring for generations to come. This does
not happen by accident as evolution would attest...it happens
by trial and error. The companies who correct and make the
fewest errors will be here tomorrow.
What do I mean by the strongest and most able to
adapt? The strongest companies will be the ones who are the most
solvent financially. In other words, they have chosen not to
borrow and have remained debt free while at the same
time streamlining their budget by cutting spending and
eliminating unnecessary expenses. The companies who are most
free to adapt and make necessary changes in the shortest
period of time and meet the demands of the consumer at an
affordable price will dominate the pest control industry in the
future.
As a consumer, you can be sure NoMoPest.com will be
here tomorrow. I know
this, because of the following salient points.
1.
NoMoPest.com is debt free with very low
overhead.
2.
NoMoPest.com is a locally owned company and
able to adapt quickly to the changes in our economy
and streamline our services so that everyone can afford to have
effective pest control.
3.
NoMoPest.com has a very low cancellation rate.
In other words; "Once a customer… always a customer".
4.
NoMoPest.com delivers what it
promises.
5.
Our reputation precedes itself.
6.
And finally, we always have our clients best
interest in mind. That is why our company slogan is, “We have your
PEST interest in mind”.

Thanks to the Pest Control Industry, the
Florida environment is now safe, secure and
a solace to live in.
I
remember 50 years ago how Florida use to be before the Pest
Control Industry had an impact on the countless pests that reeked
havoc on everyone who resided in the Sunshine State. Biting midges,
mosquitoes, deer flies, gnats, palmetto bugs and chiggers, just
to name a few, seemed to be everywhere and made life miserable for
everyone who happened to be outside at the time. It was standard procedure
for us to put on bug repellent before going outside, especially if
we were going to the beach, river or lake.
I
heard about and read the stories of Ponce de Leon and his men when
they had to forage through the woods and swamps of Florida some 500
years ago. Many died because of poisonous insect bites and
the diseases they transmitted. The only people who were brave enough
to live in Florida at that time were "Gators" and "Seminoles", no
pun intended. Florida was not known as the Sunshine State. On
the contrary, it was better known for all of its bugs!
Sunshine, heat and humidity only made the pest
problem worse.
It was a very long time before anyone would even
consider moving to Florida because the huge pest problem was a
well known fact of life. Thanks to the Pest Control
Industry, the Florida environment is now safe, secure
and solace to live in.
Certified Pest Control professionals have proven
themselves to be the true environmentalists in our world today.
Florida use to be a very deadly and dangerous place for humans to
live. Ask me, I know because I have lived here 57 years and
have actually seen what our industry has accomplished for the
health and well being of Florida residents. The fact that
I am alive, healthy and still here in Orlando gives testimony
to the truth of this matter.
I
love my job and I am very proud to serve the residents of
Central Florida with superior pest protection at an affordable
price. I write this blog "with your pest interest in
mind".
